After the ice age came the Agricultural Revolution and something I found surprising is the new technology that was created during this period. Although new technology was discovered the gatherer-hunters techniques were used for a time after. When the new technology was discovered the paleolithic era soon became the neolithic era. The new technology was created because of the lack of many large animals which caused for the gatherer-hunters to slowly "die off'. Larger animals started to go extinct because after the ice age there was global warming which created many different climates that some animals could not survive in, but homo sapiens could. Selective breeding was considered "technology" because it benefitted all people around the globe. Farmers were able to create more from less meaning they were able to figure out how have less sheep, but make more wool then having more sheep and barely matching how much wool they could make with less of the selective bred shee...
